TAKIN TRAIL

"THE HUMANITRAIL MARATHON"
The Takin is used to the slopes of the Himalayas and is surprisingly agile despite its large body. You need at least this characteristic to embark on this 100% alpine challenge offered by the Humani'Trail. The animal, which is the emblem of the Kingdom of Bhutan, particularly appreciates bamboo, which is why we are still hesitant to offer it at the refreshment points...
Caution: on the bend that leads to the Cabane des Diablerets, you must be particularly free from vertigo.

After starting in the heart of Les Diablerets (1,162 m) and crossing the Col du Pillon, the Takin trail takes participants to the Cabane des Diablerets (2,485 m).
This alpine route then allows you to cross the language border and discover the Combe d'Audon, a sort of alpine amphitheatre well known to skiers, the beautiful Oldebach waterfall and finally the Bernese Alps of Gsteig. The route then leads back via the beautiful Lac Retaud (1,685 m), dominated by the Palette and its ‘Mur’ (2,171 m), and over the hills of La Chaux and the Col de Seron (2,152 m) before reaching the finish in Les Diablerets.

CHALLENGE 2D For only CHF 15.- extra, you can also take part in the 2-day challenge offered as part of our 10th anniversary. The idea is as follows: you register for a race in Les Diablerets on Saturday (TAKIN, RHINO, or YAK) and then choose the 'CHALLENGE 2D,' which will allow you to participate the next day in Gstaad, either on the 14km course or the more demanding 27km course. The final choice can be made when picking up the bibs for the Sunday race. A special ranking based on the total mileage covered and a coefficient will be established at the end of the 2 days.
