To ensure their safety, each participant must have all the items from the mandatory equipment list with them and carry the entire equipment throughout the race, even if it is not used. Organized and/or random equipment checks will be conducted during the race. A penalty up to disqualification will be applied to runners who do not have all the mandatory equipment with them (see regulations).
¹The jacket must be made of a waterproof membrane (recommended minimum 10,000 Schmerber) and breathable (recommended RET below 13). If you decide to take poles with you, you must carry them throughout the race or leave them at the base camp (if available). The weather at the end of September is very unpredictable, with significant temperature fluctuations. The organizers reserve the right to activate one of the three weather plans below and require the corresponding equipment up to 8 hours before the start.
Regardless of the weather, sunglasses and sunscreen, as well as gloves for longer runs, are highly recommended. Foot care and blister + K-Tape are not provided by the organization. Please include these in your support backpack.
